The nurse uniform is a type of body armor in NetHack brass. Female Healers will start out with it and the nurse cap.
Although it gives no AC benefit, the nurse uniform, in conjunction with the nurse cap, grants level drain resistance, immunity to sickness, and hallucination resistance, as long as the player is female. A male character who wears either will instead gain aggravate monster.
Nurse clothing also makes one more proficient in the use of scissors and bandages.
