A potion of enlightenment allows you to momentarily see your intrinsics and other attributes.
If the potion is blessed, it has the added effect of gaining one point each of intelligence and wisdom. Both blessed and uncursed potions exercise wisdom. However, a cursed potion does nothing except abuse wisdom - not even providing enlightenment.
