The scroll of food detection acts like a potion of object detection for comestibles. If blessed, it gives the food appraisal intrinsic.
Strategy
If you do happen to be short on food and in possession of an identified scroll of food detection, you may as well use it. Otherwise, this scroll is fairly worthless, and a good candidate for blanking.
