The spellbook of summoning allows you to learn the summon monster spell, which creates random monsters for a limited time. This is specific to FIQHack and replaces the vanilla spellbook of create monster.

Notes

  • The number of turns that summoned monsters last is based on the caster's clerical spell level:
    • Unskilled: 5 turns
    • Basic: 10 turns
    • Skilled: 15 turns
    • Expert: 20 turns
  • Summoned monsters can summon other monsters, however the summoned monsters will not outlive their summoners.
  • Spellbook weight in FIQHack is based on spell level, so this spellbook weighs 40.
  • The caster is allowed to select the location for the summoned monster.
  • Summoned monsters have no starting inventory and will not leaved a corpse.
  • You do not receive experience for killing a summoned monster.
