After reviewing the actual history of K-Rations and C-Rations, it seems that:
- C-Rations were actually heavier and more calories than K-rations
- Both C-Rations and K-Rations provided 3 individual meals per ration; this contradicts "eat in one turn"
- Every K-ration had meat in each meal; some C-rations did contain a vegan meal, but the daily 3-pack always contained meat
