What would happen if you left a [[bones file]] with a scroll of mail on a public server? Would others be able to read your mail?--[[User:Munkel|Munkel]] 14:24, 5 July 2007 (UTC)

What about engraving the E-word and dropping this scroll on it? Does it prevent monsters from entering the square? And how about sending yourself mail to create mail daemons as buffers, so that real and nasty monsters can not reach you? Although this is probably best to discuss at mail daemon. --ZeroOne 08:14, 18 August 2006 (UTC)

A scroll of mail does work as an Elbereth enhancer (just tested it on NAO). As for the mail daemon buffer, it wouldn't work, because mail daemons appear for less than a turn. If monsters are surrounding you, the daemon just throws you the scroll. ("Catch!") --Eidolos 23:17, 18 August 2006 (UTC)
