What about engraving the E-word and dropping this scroll on it? Does it prevent monsters from entering the square? : A scroll of mail does work as an [[Elbereth]] enhancer (just tested it on [[NAO]]). As for the mail daemon buffer, it wouldn't work, because mail daemons appear for less than a turn. A scroll of mail does work as an Elbereth enhancer (just tested it on NAO). As for the mail daemon buffer, it wouldn't work, because mail daemons appear for less than a turn. If monsters are surrounding you, the daemon just throws you the scroll. ("Catch!") --Eidolos 23:17, 18 August 2006 (UTC)
