About Me

I am:

• A Nethack newbie (I can reliably get to the Oracle)
• A Wiki newbie (but I know a little of the formatting)

But, I love Nethack and this wiki. Considering the amount of time I waste on both, I thought I should give something back. I'm pretty good with grammar and punctuation, anyway.

My first roguelike was ADOM, but I'm glad I switched to Nethack, which I find less frustrating. I'm uncomfortable applying words like easier and simpler to Nethack, so I won't, but it's certainly been a more pleasant introduction to the genre.

I typically play neutral human Valkyries. This has nothing to do with the fact that I'm toying with the idea of joining Ásatrú. Really. I don't usually play on the public server, because:

• I like tiles, to my eternal shame,
• I still can't get a handle on the hjkl control scheme, and
• I fear embarassment, and other peoples' bones.
