Reference | monst.c#line1440 |
The violet fungus is a delectable treat, so long as the player has poison resistance. If not, there is a 20% chance that it could be acquired, if the player is willing to suffer the effects of the poison (eating the corpse causes hallucination). The fungus is not a difficult enemy, and moves slowly enough not to be a threat in most situations.
