YANI is short for Yet Another New Idea, and is a common prefix to the subject of many RGRN posts suggesting new ideas to be incorporated into the game.
Very, very few, if any, YANIs are ever incorporated into the official game, unless a working patch has been provided with the YANI, in which case the chance of official incorporation is raised to slim.
