Forum:Polymorphing a Long Worm

Yesterday my nice pet went into a polymorph trap and turned into a long worm, I tried to move into the long worms head to displace him again on the trap to polymorph into something else, he did not move. I had magic whistle and the long worm landed again and again on the polymorph trap, but did not polymorph. (So I lost that game for some other reasons with a weak tourist (and some special conducts).)
It's impossible to polymorph that long worm (under the latest NH-Version from 2003)?
