Doesn't door-kicking also make noise and also wake up monsters? I dunno, but being attacked by an entire leprechaun hall can be annoying.

It just is, nobody knows why. Doors have to be kicked down. --Tjr

Presumably it's because there's no space to get leverage on the door. With a chest, you could slip a sword or similar object into the gap between the lid and the main body of the chest. This line of thought doesn't work for bashing weapons, though. Ais523 15:07, 25 November 2010 (UTC)

Pet aid finding secret doors.

A hint to find secret doors is a strange conduct of your pet. If you don't know why your pet gets "lost" everytime you walk into some corridor to reach a room, it means there is a shorter path using a hidden door.--Gargarismo (talk) 11:38, 19 July 2016 (UTC)
