Template:Moon phase

This template shows the phase of the moon in NetHack. It takes the following optional parameters:

  • time: the time at which to show the moon phase. Defaults to the time the page was last parsed (which might be some time ago due to caching). Both absolute ("1 January 2010") and relative ("tomorrow") time specifications can be used. See mw:Help:Extension:ParserFunctions#.23time for details.
  • size: size of the image in pixels. Default is 180.
  • align: alignment of the image box. Default is right.

This template calculates the moon phase using Template:Moonphasenum, which is based on phase_of_the_moon in hacklib.c.
