Linking to character displayed

I've created an example of how we could link to characters displayed with this template in my user page User:Dptr1988/Template:Kbdsym. I think it turned out Ok in that example page and if other people don't have any objections after some time, I'd be tempted to make those changes shown in that example page to this template.

Ok, I've made the changes to this template and checked each page the uses this template ( using the 'What links here' tool ), correcting any display issue that I saw. So it looks like these changes have been successfully integrated into the template.

If you see any thing that is broken due to this change and don't want to fix it, please let me know and I'll try to fix it.
