Bot flag

I gave the welcome bot user a bot flag, but welcoming still shows up on Special:RecentChanges when I hide bot edits. What's going wrong?Tjr 02:43, 12 November 2010 (UTC)

Giving away full names

Should the welcome bot continue to give away the real-name on users' talk pages? Some people (including me) would not want that. Are registrants warned their name will be disclosed? --Tjr 21:19, 11 April 2011 (UTC)
