Hi! Welcome, and thanks for contributing to NetHackWiki!

  • The How to help and Style guide pages are excellent starting points.
  • Recent changes is a great first stop, because you can see what other people are editing right this minute, and where you can help.
  • Questions? Need help? You can ask on my talk page, at the Community Portal or on the talk page associated with each article! Just remember to sign those posts with four tildes: ~~~~. That will expand to create a signature.

I'm really happy to have you here, and look forward to working with you! -- Tjr (Talk) 03:16, September 21, 2009

Your edit on "Grid bug"

Currently, all encyclopedia entries are set in equal-width font "by hand", without a template. In my opinion, we could certainly use one; in part to experiment with the best layout, in part to make changes appear everywhere at one touch. I'd personally prefer for the encyclopedia to be visually distinguished in some form, though it certainly need not be typewriter font. (Click the edit button on pages like [1] to see some example code.) Paxed and perhaps ZeroOne know more about this kind of thing. In the meantime, would you please leave these entries consistent accross pages and avoid dangling "(begin quote)", "(end quote)" pseudomarkup in the articles? -Tjr 11:16, September 22, 2009 (UTC)
