Hallucinatory monster
Hallucinatory monsters do not exist in NetHack, but their names can appear when you are hallucinating and interacting with monsters. A few appear as real monsters in SLASH'EM. Many of the monster names come from other roguelikes, mythologies, fantasy worlds, and popular culture[1].
