The flint stone is the least interesting of the four gray stones, having no special powers or abilities. Its distinguishing feature is that it does 1d6 damage against small and large enemies when slung, instead of the 1d3 dealt by other gems and stones.
Theoretically, eating a non-cursed flint stone should display the message "Yabba-dabba delicious!" and exercise your wisdom. Since no monster in the game can currently eat flint stones, however, this point is mostly academic.[1]
The message is a reference to The Flintstones.
