A zombie, represented by the overall glyph Z, is an undead creature often found in graveyards or in the main dungeon. Zombies leave corpses that are already old, so they are unfit for sacrificing, and are likely to be tainted even if eaten immediately. If your character is killed by a zombie and a bones file is created, a zombie of the race of your character will replace the ghost.
