The gnomish helm is a type of helm that appears in SlashTHEM. It is made of cloth and appears as a little red hat when unidentified.
Generation
Every gnome (minus gnome zombies and gnome mummies) has a chance of being generated with a gnomish helm, making them very common in the Gnomish Mines.
Strategy
With a base AC of 0, these helms are likely not very useful to most characters even when enchanted. However, they provide a +2 racial bonus in AC to player gnomes, making them more usable.
