Large deep-rock dweller

The large deep-rock dweller is a monster class that appears in NetHack Fourk, and is represented by the uppercase X glyph (X).

The umber hulk and xorn monster classes, which only have one monster each in NetHack, are folded into this monster class, though it is still designated internally by the macro S_XORN.

The monster class contains the following monsters:

• X xorn
• X umber hulk
• X ettin
• X deep ettin

Common traits

All large deep-rock dwellers are able to tunnel through rock - the ettin is the only one that requires a tool to do so.
