A magic chest is a dungeon feature in DynaHack that behaves similar to chests and other containers, and is similarly represented by a left parenthesis glyph, (.

Generation

A magic chest is present in each of the following levels:

• All maps of Minetown
• All maps for the first floor of Sokoban
• The home level of each Quest
• All maps of Fort Ludios
• Castle
• Valley of the Dead
• Orcus-town
• The Fake Wizard's Tower not containing a magic portal

Description

All of a magic chest's contents are accessible from any other magic chest encountered in the game.
