Contents
Effects
If you read the scroll while you are not confused, elementals will be created. Any elemental in the game is eligible except the fusion elemental. This includes the new SpliceHack-specific elementals that are rarely seen otherwise.[1]
The number and hostility of the elementals depend on the beatitude of the scroll.[2]
Beatitude | Number | Hostility |
---|---|---|
Blessed | 1 | 1⁄3 chance of being hostile, otherwise tame |
Uncursed | 1 | 1⁄2 chance of being hostile, otherwise peaceful |
Cursed | 2-4 | always hostile |
Confused reading
If you read the scroll while confused, the scroll will create gas spores, flaming spheres, freezing spheres or shocking spheres. The number and hostility of the created monsters depend on the beatitude of the scroll:
Beatitude | Number | Hostility |
---|---|---|
Blessed | 3-12 | tame |
Uncursed | 3-12 | hostile |
Cursed | 1 | hostile |
Monster use
Monsters can read this scroll. If the monster is confused, the scroll will create gas spores, flaming spheres, freezing spheres or shocking spheres. Otherwise it will create random elementals (excluding fusion elementals). The number of elementals is 1-12 for a cursed scroll, 1-4 otherwise.[3]
