I've been using a blessed PYEC as a Priest for a long while now, and this last time it caused my magic marker (0:3) to glow white instead of the normal "briefly" and the marker recharged to 1:50. I don't want to update the entry to say that it can occasionally do blessed chargings for non-tourists without confirmation, but I'm pretty sure that's what just happened (yay!). --Enehta 05:23, 14 December 2007 (UTC)
- Uncursed charging of a magic marker will round up to 50 charges. The article is not wrong about what the PYEC does, but it is wrong when it states that blessed charging of a magic marker is necessarily better -- this is only true when the charging might bump the marker beyond 50 charges.--Thefifthsetpin 03:46, 14 January 2009 (UTC)
A note. I wished for one of these. I was a neutral wizard. It blasted me (saw that coming) and then Evaded my grasp (???). Help!

Antecedents
Hello,
The Origin section in this page tells that it came from the C64 manual of Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord. However, the manual just states as "a Dungeon Express Card", not "a Platinum Yendorian Express Card", as well as the manuals of Wizardry for other platforms.

Since it seems not a direct reference from the manual of Wizardry, does anyone know any evidence like as rgrn logs which the DevTeam had referred the manual for the naming of PYEC? --Youkan (talk) 07:56, 8 August 2022 (UTC)
