A fishing pole is an item in SLASH'EM. It is a polearm, and thus uses this kind of skill. It can be used to fish. Applying a fishing pole on a water square may have the following effects :
- You hook yourself, dealing yourself damage
- You hook an item on the target square, retrieving it
