I didn't like the Main_Page's design the first time I came here, and this dislike has not improved since. In fact, it turned me back once. I think it overloads the unsuspecting visitor and does not come to the point what NetHack actually is in case people do not yet know.
However, I do very much like its content - featured articles, pointers to roles/items/in-depth, news. Perhaps links to stuff "for newbies" should be added a bit more prominently.
