Properties
Glass, as would be expected, shatters under strong forces. Items made of glass can shatter when thrown at a wall, or when hit with force bolt or a wand of striking. Monsters made of glass do not shatter.
Examples
- Potions are all made of glass
- Crystal armor suits are made of glass and can shatter like any other object. What happens if a crystal armor gets hit with a wand of striking?
- Some gems are not valuable, but simply worthless glass.
- A wand can have the description "a glass wand".
- Monsters include glass golems and glass piercers.
Miscellaneous information
- Hazardous potions and lit potions of oil make nifty grenades, causing the hit enemy to fall under the effects of that potion.
- Throwing a potion of healing at a pet could be useful.
- Nymphs often carry looking glasses which behave like glass, shattering under a strong blow (and confer a luck penalty when broken).
