A gnomish helm is a type of helm that appears in SlashTHEM. It is made of cloth and appears as a little red hat when unidentified.
Generation
Every non-undead gnome has a chance of being generated with a gnomish helm, making them very common in the Gnomish Mines.
Description
When worn, a gnomish helm provides a base AC of 0, but gives a +2 racial equipment AC bonus to player gnomes that wear them.
Strategy
These helms are most useful to player gnomes, who may have a hard time finding them in the Mines due to the lack of friendly gnomes within.
