Mephisto's Lair is a special level in SpliceHack. It is generated between levels 2 and 8 of Gehennom.[1]

Mephistopholes & stands on the downstair guarded by a pit fiend & named The Left Horn and a pit fiend named The Right Horn. There are also hezrou & and lava demons & at the positions shown above.
Additionally, there are four lava demons, one magma elemental, eleven random &, twelve random objects, ten land mines, four fire traps and five random traps scattered around the level.
The level is unlit.[2]
