A pony is represented by the letter u. Throw a pony a treat like a carrot or apple (but not an orange), and it will become tame (your pet). Pet ponies can be saddled and ridden.

Ponies grow into horses and then into warhorses, the most powerful form.

A pony has an animal body. It has no hands. It is a herbivore.
