The ring of aggravate monster is a rather dangerous ring, and usually (90% of the time) cursed. Wearing (or eating) it gives you the property of aggravate monster.
When dropping this ring down a sink, you receive the message: "Several flies buzz angrily around the sink." (This also works while blind.)
The effects of this ring are entirely negative. As such, it is best to simply ignore these rings, or polymorph them if the player has spare charges or power.
