the Rouge level doesn't leave corpses so there isn't any Death Drop, right?— Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.153.178.134 (talkcontribs)

Well, there's no "death drop" of a corpse, that much is true. The monster may still drop a random object.--Ray Chason 20:39, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

This page gives object frequencies for regular dungeon, Gehennom, and the Rogue level, but no mention is made of whether these are affected by other locations, such as the Gnomish Mines, various quest levels, Fort Ludios, demon lairs, etc. It might also be worth mentioning whether or not special rooms (shops, cockatrice dens, beehives, anthills, swamps, etc.) can change these probabilities. If the death drop happens to be a tin, its contents are chosen according to the same probability distribution also used for generating monsters. In that case, dungeon level/branch do matter. As far as I know, that is the only further way object frequencies are affected. Tjr 18:22, June 9, 2010 (UTC)

PPS. Could be something like a upturned version of the dungeon map on Mazes of Menace, with it rotated ninety degrees (working it's way down through branches rather than to the right). This would at least allow easily seeing where a given level is supposed to lie in the generation. And (pointless) anchor links around the page.
