I'm a novice and I thought this was really cool. I thought I got "immortality" by killing and eating a water nymph (I was hungry, OK?) and some kind of foolishness I carried out with an altar in the same room.  Or did i just hit the "x" key by accident?  -[[Special:Contributions/72.182.33.219|72.182.33.219]] 20:42, 16 September 2014 (UTC)Eric

Has anyone from the DevTeam thought it a good idea to enable one to enter explore mode before the DYWYPI prompt? As an option in the config file? I just died from one of my better games so far, as I turned around a corner, a forest centaur zapped me with a wand of fire before I had time to do anything. --Mordak 04:47, 30 December 2010 (UTC)

You'd have to ask the devteam about it. Also, such a patch already exists: http://bilious.alt.org/?48 --paxed 06:51, 30 December 2010 (UTC)
