:No. If you are not using a sling, then all gems including loadstones do d2 damage: [[Source:uhitm.c#line580]]. Hitting with any thrown weapon will increase the successful use counter for that weapon. This applies both to ranged weapons like darts and weapons that are meant to be used in melee like quarterstaffs or unicorn horns. --99.239.147.0 02:26, 5 June 2012 (UTC)

No. If you are not using a sling, then all gems including loadstones do d2 damage: Source:uhitm.c#line580. And if you are using a sling, loadstones (like all gems except flint stones) do d3 damage: Source:objects.c#line934. --Erica (talk) 03:25, 10 November 2012 (UTC)
