The Oracle is a very useful monster, so don't kill her! She can provide very useful data, and level up some pacifist characters. For 50 gold, you can get a minor consultation, similar to what you get from a blessed fortune cookie. For 500 + (XL * 50) you will get more specific and more cryptic data, and possibly gain a level.
