I read a scroll of create monster that I ''hadn't'' buc tested yet, and sure enough it was cursed. I killed about half of the monsters summoned though. About Me
I am:
- A NetHack newbie (I can reliably get to the Oracle)
- A Wiki newbie (but I know a little of the formatting)
But, I love NetHack and this wiki. Considering the amount of time I waste on both, I thought I should give something back. I'm pretty good with grammar and punctuation, anyway.
My first roguelike was ADOM, but I'm glad I switched to NetHack, which I find less frustrating. I'm uncomfortable applying words like easier and simpler to NetHack, so I won't, but it's certainly been a more pleasant introduction to the genre.
I typically play neutral human Valkyries. This has nothing to do with the fact that I'm toying with the idea of joining Ásatrú. Really. I don't usually play on the public server, because:
- I like tiles, to my eternal shame,
I still can't get a handle on the hjkl control scheme, and- I fear embarassment, and other peoples' bones.
This is my LJ, but I can't recommend reading it.
