First of all, I think that the symbols are fine the way they are. However, if anyone does use these ideas, I have a few thoughts on them. First of all, if anything, gremlins should keep g, and gargoyles should be moved to ', since gremlins had the symbol first. Also, there is a monster for capital I - stalkers, which were pointlessly moved to E when the symbol was misappropriated as a "visual indicator". If you want more monsters for the class, SLASH'EM's displacer beasts also used the symbol in some older versions.  Again, these are just the thoughts of a lowly source diver. Take them as you will. --Kahran042 (talk) 19:37, 10 April 2016 (UTC)

Monster symbols

I don't think the huge @ class is fine as it is, but otherwise class symbols are definitely not a pressing issue.
I rather like your solution, moving gargoyles to golems at least pairs them with similar monsters and while I dislike one monster classes, gremlins are definitely unique. It's also small enough change not to raise too much ire. :) And using capital I for invisible stalkers feels good, especially since they do not resemble elementals in any way.
