Description
Disappear is a non-directed spell that can be used by any monster of at least level 5 with the ability to cast mage spells.[1][2] The spell grants the caster permanent invisibility, marking the monster's spot with a I if the hero saw them cast it[3] - a monster will only cast the spell if they are not already invisible and/or wearing a mummy wrapping that would block the spell, and tame and peaceful monsters will only cast the spell if the hero currently has the see invisible property.
Strategy
For heroes that lack the see invisible property, lower-level hostile spellcasters can become an annoyance by making themselves invisible, while particularly troublesome casters such as liches and golden nagas can become all the harder to track and eliminate before they can potentially overwhelm the hero.
