Forum:5.0.0: blessed potion of see invisible times out?
In 5.0.0, pets can acquire intrinsics from corpses. That apparently means a pet that eats an invisible stalker corpse becomes invisible permanently. Not convenient but it does makes the "see invisible" property more important.
I tried to deal with the issue in two games by having my hero quaff a blessed potion of see invisible. The current wiki says that should give the hero the "see invisible" intrinsic permanently. But in both games, it timed out.
Is this an intentional change? If so, the wiki need updating. If not, what is happening?

- The potion of see invisible page is already updated for 5.0, but the see invisible page wasn't; I've updated it as well. Prowler (talk) 00:16, 12 June 2026 (UTC)
Thank you for the update. Making it so hard to get intrinsic from the potion seems a little extreme. It again makes the potion less valuable.

It's the reverse - the potion is more valuable because you can't just bless the first one you find, down it and then render any future potions you find poly/dilution fodder. --Umbire the Phantom (talk) 01:05, 12 June 2026 (UTC)
