Deletion of link to wikiindex.org
I deleted the link to wikiindex.org. Here is why.
As of June 2024, wikiindex.org returns: 504 Gateway Time-out.
https://web.archive.org/web/20240000000000*/http://wikiindex.org/NetHack_Wiki shows 9 captures from October 17, 2007 to March 7, 2023. I checked all 9 captures. The most recent capture and many before it contained just one line of text:
NethackWiki is a wiki containing all sorts of information about the computer game NetHack and its variants: SLASH'EM, SporkHack, UnNetHack, etc.
The most recent capture also contained an article count and a WikiFactor from 2013. Wikipedia has a stub article on WikiFactor (and a redlink for wikiindex)..
The earlier captures were similar. The only change was that capture from before the big move referred to WikiHack instead of NetHackWiki.
I found nothing notable in the above. If another editor wants to rescue one of the archive.org links, go ahead, but I think it would be a waste of our reader's time.
