The ring of sleeping is a new item added in SLASH'EM. [1] When worn, it causes you to randomly fall asleep for 1-20 turns every 1-100 turns. This effect is permanent if the ring is eaten, and negated if you have sleep resistance. The message obtained by dropping one down a sink is "You hear loud snores coming from the drain".
