Things to do so I don't forget: (if anyone else wants to mod this while I'm at work go ahead... )
Add info tables on right for rest of items with weight, etc. Add strategy about flashing non permanent lightsource on and off while mapping a level to conserve light charges.

Probability of not enough guaranteed candles?
Has anybody already done the calculations how likely it is that there are not enough guaranteed candles in minetown? --Bhaak 12:35, 5 January 2011 (UTC)
- I am assuming:
- computing only Izchak's shop for now,
- mimics are neither extinct nor genocided,
- all 7 layouts of mine town are equally likely,
- all 3 dungeon branch heights are equally likely,
- Mine Town is the 3rd or 4rth level of the mines, equally likely.
Then there is a 12.81% chance of not enough candles in the light store, and 17.83% chance of at least 1 magic lamp. --Tjr 05:09, 6 January 2011 (UTC)

- This seems to imply you know the formula for mimic generation. I can't find it on the mimic or shop pages, and google searching for related spoilers doesn't seem to be helping. Could you point me to it? I need to factor it into a section on the Minetown page. Blackcustard 19:23, 9 March 2011 (UTC)
- Each square has (dlevel-1)% chance of a mimic. See User:Tjr/object_generation_spoiler or Source:NetHack_3.4.3/src/shknam.c#line255. --Tjr 10:58, 11 March 2011 (UTC)
Light Radius Function
The {{lightradius|r=FOO}} command is limited to a 5-square radius. Would it not be useful to be able to have the nice graphic for larger light sources? e.g. Blessed scrolls of light, the Holy Spear of Light, etc. Opinions? AileTheAlien 19:30, 14 January 2011 (UTC)
