The Tsurugi of Muramasa

The Tsurugi of Muramasa is the Samurai quest artifact. It is lawful for wishing purposes.

It is a tsurugi, a type of two-handed sword. It does from 11-41 damage, blessed +7. It also has a 5% chance of bisecting small monsters and monsters engulfing you, killing them instantly, and doing double damage to large monsters.

Many players dislike this weapon because of its two-handedness; if it happens to be cursed in a fight, especially in Gehennom, you are doomed. You cannot cast spells, reach into your pack for holy water, do anything at all with your hands.
