Group

"Is the group made instead of or in addition to the original monster? In other words, will a large group (rnd(10)) consist of 1-10 or 2-11 monsters?"
Certain monsters have a tendency to appear in groups. Due to this, they are more common than their monster frequency would imply.
A "large" group consists of 2-11 monsters and a "small" of 2-4.[1] The group is halved for players of level 3 or 4, and divided by 4 for players of level 1 or 2.[2] Peaceful monsters are never created in a group.[3]
SLASH'EM
SLASH'EM adds "very large" groups of size 2-21.[4]
