Samurais are Japanese warriors. That is why some of the items are renamed when playing as a samurai. The following is a list of those items with their Japanese names.

JNetHack
NetHack has also been fully translated to Japanese. The version is called JNetHack and it is based on NetHack 3.2.2. Besides all messages being Japanese, it features a new character class, the fighter.
