Dungeon fern

The dungeon fern is a dangerous new UnNetHack monster. It is stationary and has no physical attacks. However, when approached, it creates dungeon fern spores which are more dangerous cousins of the gas spore - they explode into sinking clouds, and can create new dungeon ferns in the process. Most of the time, they produce dungeon fern sprouts instead, which are like dungeon ferns, but they produce spores less often.

Everything in the dungeon hates gas spores, and they hate everything.
