An atgeir is a type of weapon that appears in Hack'EM. It is a one-handed weapon that uses the spear skill and has a base material of iron, and appears as a bladed spear when unidentified.
The atgeir is the base item for the artifact Gungnir.
Generation
Atgeirs make up 1⁄200 (0.5%) of all weapons that are randomly generated on the ground, in general shops or as death drops. Used armor dealerships and antique weapon outlets can also stock atgeirs.
Description
Atgeirs inflict only piercing damage unlike in dNetHack and its derivatives, and an atgeir deals 2d4 damage against small monsters and 1d12 against large monsters.
A spear weapon that is used to create Gungnir will always be transformed into an atgeir.
