Dragonbane is an artifact that appears in FIQHack, and has been significantly altered from the artifact in NetHack. Its default alignment is lawful, and its base item type is a lance.
Generation
A randomly generated lance on the ground has a base 1⁄20 chance of being made into an artifact, which will always be Dragonbane if it has not yet been generated.
Dragonbane is the first guaranteed sacrifice gift for Knights, and lawful heroes may receive it as a sacrifice gift: being gifted the artifact this way will unrestrict the riding skill and pair the artifact with a free saddle.
Description
Dragonbane has half the weight of a regular lance at 90 aum. While wielded, Dragonbane grants reflection, cannot break when used to joust, and has +1d5 to-hit and deals +1d20 damage against dragons.
