Alhoons are the guardians of the second and third keys of neutrality in dNetHack. They are mind flayers which were turned into liches, and share traits of both monsters, mixing the cold touch, casting and life drain of the lich with the tentacles and intelligence drain of the mind flayer.
Generation
They are found in the third level of the Lethe Gorge and in Ryleh.
