The blue slime is a monster added in UnNetHack and is only generated in the Sheol branch. It boasts the unique ability to encase whatever it attacks in ice for several turns.

Strategy

By the time you reach Sheol, blue slimes should not be a challenge on their own. However their ability to freeze you in place can be quite harmful if a more powerful monster is near, such as a crystal ice golem. They should thus be fought alone if possible to avoid being turned into a punching bag for other monsters.

"General improvement and filling in the gaps on the table. Also, is the passive freezing attack actually implemented? I haven't actually seen it, just seen the code (could just be good luck though)"
